What is Landscape Design?
Actually, landscape design is a difficult phrase to properly define; and, the definition depends a lot on the scope of your project and the services offered by a particular landscaping firm.
Landscape design ultimately encompasses all aspects of the landscape creation process, from idea and concept to the application of the design plan. Significantly, hardscape and water feature design should be included, as well as the implementation or construction of the overall landscape design, if you will.
Since landscape design and construction is a fluid process, the design process never ends, it is ongoing, adaptive, evolving.
Hence, the landscape design is never truly complete!
As noted above, landscape design also includes the supporting elements, hardscape design and water feature design.
